Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Nodi Rani is now 32+ weeks into her 2nd pregnancy, is facing a high-risk condition as her baby is in a breech position , meaning the baby is positioned feet or bottom first instead of head down. In addition, she has oligohydramnios, which means there is a lower than normal amount of amniotic fluid surrounding the baby.

Background
Nodi Rani is a caring and resilient 20-year-old mother who dreams of having a safe delivery and welcoming her second child into the world. She lives with her husband, a day laborer earning only around BDT 6,000 per month, along with her elderly mother-in-law, father-in-law, and grandmother, all of whom are unable to work due to old age and depend on the family's limited income. The cost of medical care is far beyond their means, as their income is barely enough to cover food and other daily necessities. During her pregnancy, Nodi developed abdominal pain and watery discharge, and doctors found that she has low amniotic fluid and that her baby is not in the normal position for delivery, placing both mother and child at risk. Without timely treatment and close medical supervision, serious complications could occur during childbirth, threatening the health and safety of both Nodi and her unborn baby.
Medical history
The patient, Nodi Rani was admitted to City Clinic on 28th May 2026. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy2.5 kg male baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 01th June 2026 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.
Prognosis
Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) is a life-saving procedure for Nodi Rani in this condition. With timely surgery, the baby can be delivered safely, reducing the risks associated with breech presentation and low amniotic fluid, and preventing further complications. After the operation, Nodi is expected to recover well with proper care, and her baby has a strong chance of survival and good health. However, if left untreated, her condition could become life-threatening. The combination of breech position and oligohydramnios may lead to obstructed labor, severe fetal distress, or loss of the baby, while the mother may face serious complications such as excessive bleeding or infection. Immediate surgical intervention is therefore essential to save both lives.
