Sumona Rani is a caring and hopeful 20-year-old woman who is eagerly awaiting the birth of her first child and dreams of becoming a loving mother. She lives with her husband, a day laborer earning only around BDT 6,000 per month, and her elderly parents-in-law, who are unable to work and depend on the family's limited income. Their financial hardship makes it impossible for them to afford the specialized medical care needed during her pregnancy after covering basic household expenses. Recently, Sumona developed abdominal pain and watery discharge, and doctors found that her baby is in a breech position with reduced movements, raising concerns about the baby's well-being. Without timely medical care and close monitoring, serious complications could occur during pregnancy or delivery, putting both Sumona and her unborn baby at risk.

The patient, Sumona Rani was admitted to City Clinic on 22th July 2026. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 3.4 kg male baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 26th June 2026 with proper postnatal advice.
