Six-year-old Abdullah has been diagnosed with epistaxis and recurrent tonsillitis, which means he is suffering from repeated throat infections along with frequent nose bleeding. Due to the swollen and infected tonsils, he experiences severe throat pain, fever, difficulty swallowing, and trouble breathing comfortably. The repeated nasal bleeding has made him weak and frightened, affecting his daily activities and preventing him from attending school regularly. As the condition has continued for many months, timely treatment and proper medical care are very important to prevent further infection, excessive bleeding, and serious health complications.

Background
Abdullah Hossein is a cheerful and innocent 6-year-old boy who dreams of going to school regularly and playing happily with his elder sister inside their small camp community. His father, Anamul Haque, works as a day laborer and earns only around 8,500 BDT per month, which is barely enough to provide food and shelter for the family, leaving no ability to afford expensive medical treatment or surgery. For the last eight months, Abdullah has been suffering from repeated throat infections, severe pain, high fever, and frightening nose bleeding, making him weak, unable to breathe comfortably, and forcing him to miss school. His mother spends sleepless nights caring for him while his sister cries seeing her little brother suffer in pain every day. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach camp in Geneva Camp, and without proper treatment and surgery, Abdullah’s condition may worsen further, leading to severe infection, excessive bleeding, breathing difficulty, and other life-threatening complications.
Medical history
After receiving support from Helpster, Abdullah was admitted to Al-Manar Hospital on May 3, 2026, at 3:52 PM for urgent surgical intervention. On May 4, at 7:25 PM, he underwent a successful tonsillectomy and nasal cauterization to stop his recurrent bleeding and infections. Following a two-day hospital stay, he was discharged in stable condition on May 5, equipped with a comprehensive 14-day medication and recovery plan that has allowed him to return home and begin his journey back to a healthy, active childhood.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctor, Abdullah requires a tonsillectomy along with electrocautery of the nasal vessel to stop the repeated throat infections and nose bleeding. With proper surgery and medical care, he is expected to recover well, breathe comfortably, eat normally, and return to school and daily activities without repeated illness. The treatment will also reduce fever, pain, and weakness caused by frequent infections and blood loss. However, if treatment is delayed or left untreated, his condition may become life-threatening, leading to severe infection, repeated heavy bleeding, breathing difficulty, poor nutrition, extreme weakness
