Abian Nowp is a gentle and innocent 11-month-old baby boy who lives with his family in difficult conditions inside Market Bihari Camp. His father, Md. Ashik, is the only earning member of the family and works as a daily laborer with a very limited monthly income, while Abian’s sick grandfather is unable to work, making it impossible for the family to manage costly medical treatment. When Abian developed high fever, severe ear infection with pus discharge, excessive crying, and later serious breathing difficulty, his worried parents rushed him to Al Manar Hospital as his condition rapidly worsened. Doctors diagnosed him with pneumonia along with acute ear infection (ASOM), both of which require urgent treatment and close monitoring. Without proper treatment, the infection could spread further and the breathing problem could become life-threatening, but the family found hope after learning about Helpster Charity through a medical outreach program and Helpster volunteers.

Abian Nowp was admitted to Al Manar Hospital on 05-05-2026 in critical condition with Pneumonia and Acute Suppurative Otitis Media (ASOM). During his hospitalization, he received IV fluids, injectable antibiotics, oxygen support, ear drops, paracetamol, and other supportive treatments under close medical supervision. Gradually, his fever, breathing difficulty, and ear infection improved, and he became stable enough to be discharged on 14-05-2026 with medicines and follow-up advice. Abian’s family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity, its generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and the hospital authority for providing timely financial and medical support during this difficult period. They shared that this support gave their child a chance to recover and brought hope and relief to their struggling family.

According to the doctors, Abian Nowp requires hospitalization, antibiotic treatment, nebulization, and supportive care to control the severe lung infection, ear infection, fever, and breathing difficulty caused by pneumonia and ASOM. With proper treatment and close medical monitoring, his breathing, fever, cough, ear pain, and overall condition are expected to improve gradually, helping him recover safely and return to normal growth and daily activities. Doctors are carefully observing him to prevent the infections from spreading further and to maintain stable breathing and oxygen levels. However, if the condition is left untreated, the pneumonia may severely damage his lungs and the ear infection could spread deeper inside the ear or surrounding areas, making the illness life-threatening for such a young child.
