Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Inioluwa is a calm 3-year-old boy who enjoys watching TV. His mom brought him to the outreach because he has rashes all over his body, but she can't afford treatment. They were referred to Cottage for free treatment from Helpster.
Medical history
The child was referred from the Helpster outreach program at Makoko, with skin rashes, fever, cough, catarrh. He was diagnosed with Upper Respiratory Tract Infection, Contact Dermatitis, and malaria/sepsis. The child was treated as an outpatient and given appropriate medications which will treat all the symptoms. The mother was happy and grateful to Helpster, as she went home with all the free medications.
