Jubayer Islam is a polite and hardworking 20-year-old young man who dreams of living a healthy life and supporting his struggling family despite their poverty. He lives with his father, younger brother, and elderly grandmother in fragile living conditions, where his father works as an auto driver and earns only around 8,000 BDT per month, making costly surgery and medical treatment impossible to afford. For the last two years, Jubayer has been suffering from severe breathing problems, repeated infections, headaches, facial pain, and blocked nose, which have gradually worsened and affected his daily activities and health. After learning about Helpster Charity through volunteer Masud Rana, his worried family sought urgent medical support, where doctors diagnosed him with a deviated nasal septum, nasal polyp, and sinus infection. Without proper treatment and surgery, his condition may become more severe and lead to serious breathing obstruction, repeated infections, and dangerous complications affecting his overall health.

Jubayer Islam has been receiving medical treatment for his chronic respiratory and nasal problems over the past 2 years. Despite taking medications and supportive treatment for recurrent respiratory tract infections and breathing difficulty, his symptoms have persisted and gradually worsened over time. He later developed additional complications, including reduced sense of smell, headache, and facial pain. After further clinical evaluation and investigations, he was diagnosed with a deviated nasal septum (DNS) toward the left side, nasal polyp, and maxillary sinusitis. Considering the long duration of symptoms and inadequate improvement with conservative treatment, doctors recommended surgical management, including septoplasty and polypectomy under general anesthesia, for definitive treatment and prevention of further complications. The patient was admitted to the hospital on 6/5/2026 for further evaluation and surgical management. He remained under medical supervision and received the necessary treatment during his hospital stay. After completion of treatment and satisfactory clinical improvement, he was discharged on 8/5/2026 with appropriate medical advice and follow-up recommendations.

According to the doctors, Jubayer Islam urgently requires septoplasty and polypectomy surgery to correct the blocked nasal passage, remove the nasal polyp, and control the ongoing sinus infection. With proper surgery and medical care, his breathing difficulty, headaches, facial pain, repeated infections, and nasal blockage are expected to improve gradually, helping him recover from his long-term suffering. Timely treatment can also prevent the worsening of airway obstruction and reduce repeated respiratory infections.
