Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Skin sepsis refers to a bacterial infection of the skin. It occurs when bacteria, usually from the surface of the skin or from an external source, enter the skin through breaks or cuts, leading to an infection. This can result in symptoms such as redness, warmth, swelling, pain, and possibly pus formation at the site of infection.

Background
Darasimin is a one-year-old girl. Her mom brought her to the outreach because she has had skin rashes and infections for the past 6 months. But because they're poor, they couldn't take her to the hospital for proper treatment. Now, they've been referred to Cottage for free treatment from Helpster.
Medical history
The child was referred from the Helpster outreach program at Makoko, with skin rashes, fever, cough, catarrh. She was diagnosed with Upper Respiratory Tract Infection, Skin Infection/Sepsis, and malaria. The child was treated as an outpatient and given appropriate medications which will treat all the symptoms. The mother was happy and grateful to Helpster, as she went home with all the free medications.
Prognosis
If left untreated, skin sepsis can spread and lead to more serious complications. Treatment typically involves antibiotics and proper wound care to clear the infection and promote healing.
