Yeasin is a 1 year and 6 months old boy with a disability who depends entirely on his mother for care and support. He lives with his mother in a fragile bamboo house and faces extreme financial hardship, while his father is currently in jail, leaving the family without a stable source of income. Yeasin had previously received life-saving treatment through Helpster Charity, but he has now become seriously ill again with dengue fever, rash, vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration, leaving him weak and unable to eat or drink properly. His mother is unable to afford the cost of repeated hospitalization and treatment, despite her desperate efforts to care for her only child. Without timely medical care, his condition could worsen rapidly, leading to severe dehydration, serious complications from dengue fever, and other life-threatening health risks. The family once again sought support through Helpster Volunteer Abu Sayeed, who arranged urgent medical assistance for Yeasin.

Mohammed Yeasin, a 1-year-old boy with disability, was admitted to Orion Hospital on 11.05.2026 through Helpster volunteer Abu Sayeed with complaints of high-grade fever associated with generalized body rash, recurrent vomiting with loose stool (more than 10 episodes), reduced oral intake with marked weakness and irritability, and Dengue-positive status with dehydration and generalized body discomfort. Following detailed clinical assessment and necessary investigations, he was diagnosed with Dengue Fever with Generalized Rash with Acute Watery Diarrhoea (AWD) and Dehydration. He was admitted for close monitoring and received careful fluid management, symptomatic treatment, supportive care for dengue and acute watery diarrhoea, nutritional support, vigilant monitoring for warning signs, and regular follow-up throughout his hospital stay. After receiving comprehensive treatment for three days, Mohammed Yeasin showed satisfactory clinical improvement and was discharged on 14.05.2026 in stable condition with medications, dietary advice, and follow-up instructions. The treatment expenses were fully supported by Helpster Charity, and the family expresses sincere gratitude to Helpster, its volunteers, and the hospital team for their kind support and care.

Doctors have advised urgent hospital-based management with careful fluid therapy, fever control, and close monitoring of Yeasir’s condition to manage dengue, diarrhoea, and dehydration safely and prevent deterioration. With timely treatment including controlled IV fluids, regular blood monitoring, electrolyte correction, and supportive care, the child has a good chance of gradual recovery and stabilization. However, if treatment is delayed or not properly maintained, the condition may rapidly worsen leading to severe dehydration, shock, internal bleeding, organ complications, and even life-threatening outcomes including death.
