Mansura Akter Elma is a gentle and brave 12-year-old girl who shares a close and loving bond with her sister and is deeply loved by her parents. Her father, Samsul Alam, struggles to support the family by driving a rented rickshaw, and his limited income is not enough to manage the costly surgery and hospital expenses needed for her treatment. For months, Mansura suffered from severe abdominal pain and repeated vomiting, and over time her condition became more serious, making it difficult for her to eat, rest, or live normally. After learning about Helpster Charity through volunteer Jamilur Reza, her worried father brought her to Modern Hospital Pvt. Ltd. seeking urgent help for her treatment. Without immediate surgery and proper medical care, the appendicular lump may rupture and spread infection inside her body, causing severe pain, dangerous complications, and life-threatening illness.
Medical history
On 07/05/2026, a young girl named Mansura Akter Elma came to us suffering from severe appendix-related pain. We immediately arranged for her to be examined by a surgical doctor. After evaluating her condition, the doctor decided that surgery was necessary. Accordingly, Mansura Akter Elma underwent an appendectomy on the same day, 07/05/2026. Following the surgery, she gradually recovered through proper medical guidance from the doctors and regular follow-up care provided by the nurses. On 09/05/2026, after making a good recovery, she was discharged from the hospital in healthy condition and safely returned home. Mansura Akter Elma’s parents and her entire family were extremely happy and grateful to receive this complex surgical treatment free of cost. They expressed their heartfelt appreciation and sincere gratitude, especially to Helpster Charity and all the medical staff of Modern Hospital Pvt. Ltd. for their support, care, and successful treatment.
Prognosis
According to the doctors, Mansura Akter Elma urgently needs appendicectomy surgery to remove the infected appendix and control the swelling and infection inside her abdomen. With proper surgery and medical care, her abdominal pain, vomiting, weakness, and discomfort are expected to improve gradually, helping her return to a healthy and normal life. Timely treatment can also prevent the infection from spreading further inside her body. Without surgery, the appendicular lump may rupture, causing severe infection, extreme abdominal pain, dangerous complications, and life-threatening conditions.
