Mst Amina Khatun is a 22-year-old woman with second gravida at 38+ weeks of gestation carrying a single live fetus. Ultrasonography (USG) confirms that the fetus is in breech presentation, meaning the baby is not in the normal cephalic (head-down) position. Breech presentation increases the risk of complications during vaginal delivery, including obstructed labor, birth trauma, and fetal distress.

Background
Mst. Amina Khatun is a caring and hopeful mother who dreams of safely welcoming a healthy baby and giving her children a better future despite her family’s poverty. Her husband works as an auto-rickshaw driver with a very limited income, making it difficult to manage daily expenses and impossible to afford costly pregnancy treatment and delivery care. During the final stage of her pregnancy, she developed lower abdominal pain, watery discharge, and weakness, causing deep fear and worry for the whole family after doctors found that the baby is in a risky breech position. After learning about Helpster Charity through volunteer Bablu Abdullah, her family brought her to Jamuna Clinic seeking urgent medical support. Without proper treatment and safe delivery care, both the mother and unborn baby could face serious and life-threatening complications during childbirth.
Medical history
Mst Amina Khatun was admitted to the hospital on May 11, 2026, with a diagnosis of a 38-week pregnancy with breech presentation. On the same day, she successfully underwent a cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both mother and newborn remained in good condition and were discharged on May 16, 2026. Upon discharge, family members came to the hospital to receive both the mother and the newborn. The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic, and Md. Abdullah Miah for their dedicated treatment and continuous support throughout the process. Amina’s mother was especially thankful to Helpster for providing crucial financial assistance during the treatment.
Prognosis
According to the doctors, Mst. Amina Khatun urgently requires LUCS (Lower Uterine Cesarean Section) because the baby is in a breech position and her ongoing pain and watery discharge may lead to serious delivery complications. With proper surgery and medical care, there is a good chance of safe delivery, helping protect the health and lives of both mother and baby. Timely treatment can also reduce the risk of severe bleeding, birth complications, infection, and distress to the unborn child. Without proper treatment and emergency delivery care, both the mother and unborn baby may face severe and life-threatening complications during childbirth.
