Muneka Rani is now 36+ weeks into her 3rd pregnancy , is facing a high-risk condition as her baby is in a breech position with mild oligohydrominious , meaning the baby is positioned feet or bottom first instead of head down. In addition, she has oligohydramnios, which means there is a lower than normal amount of amniotic fluid surrounding the baby.

Background
Muneka Rani is a caring and determined 26-year-old mother who hopes for a safe delivery and a healthy future for her unborn child. She lives with her husband, a day laborer earning only around BDT 6,000 per month, and her elderly parents-in-law, who are unable to work and depend entirely on the family's limited income. Despite facing difficulties in her previous pregnancies, Muneka has remained strong, but the cost of proper medical care is far beyond what the family can afford after meeting their basic daily needs. Doctors have found that she has low amniotic fluid and that her baby is in a breech position, placing both mother and child at increased risk during delivery. Without timely medical treatment and close monitoring, serious complications could occur during childbirth, threatening the lives of both Muneka and her unborn baby.
Medical history
The patient,Munika Rani was admitted to City Clinic on 15th May 2026. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 3 kg male baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 19th May 2026 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.
Prognosis
The doctor has advised a Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) as the safest option to ensure a controlled and secure delivery for both muneka her baby. With timely surgery, the risks related to the breech position and low amniotic fluid can be carefully managed, greatly reducing the chances of birth complications and protecting the lives of both mother and child. A planned LUCS will help prevent prolonged labor, fetal distress, and possible injury during delivery. However, if proper treatment is not provided, there is a serious risk of obstructed labor, severe bleeding, or distress to the baby, which could become life-threatening. Early surgical intervention offers the best chance for a safe outcome and a healthy recovery for both mother and newborn.
