Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About pulmonology
Sadman Hossain, a 9-month-old baby boy, has been diagnosed with acute pneumonia. This means he is suffering from a serious infection in his lungs, causing fever, cold, cough, and difficulty in breathing. Due to his young age, his immune system is still weak, making him more vulnerable to complications. Background
Sadman Hossain is a cheerful and innocent 9-month-old baby boy who is deeply loved by his parents, elder brother, elder sister, and grandparents. He lives in a seven-member family where his father is the only earning member, working as a day laborer with a monthly income of only BDT 8,000, making it impossible to afford the cost of his lifesaving treatment while meeting the family's daily needs. He has been diagnosed with severe pneumonia, and without timely treatment, the infection could rapidly damage his lungs, leading to severe respiratory failure, bloodstream infection (sepsis), multiple organ failure, or even death. The family learned about Helpster Charity through the staff of Life Care Hospital, giving them hope when they had no other way to pay for his treatment. With timely medical care, Sadman has the opportunity to recover fully, grow up healthy, and enjoy the childhood every child deserves.
Medical history
Sadman Hossain was admitted to the hospital on 26 April 2026 after suffering from fever, cold, cough, and breathing difficulties for several days. As his condition worsened, he became weak and developed shortness of breath. After medical examination and necessary tests, doctors diagnosed him with acute pneumonia. He received proper medical treatment, medications, oxygen support, and close monitoring under the care of the hospital’s medical team. With timely treatment and continuous care, Sadman’s condition gradually improved over the following days. He responded well to the medications, and his fever, cough, and breathing difficulties started to improve. He was discharged from the hospital on 2 May 2026 in stable condition. Sadman’s family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity, its volunteers, and the hospital staff for their kind support and compassionate care, which played a vital role in his recovery.
Prognosis
With timely administration of proper antibiotics, oxygen support, and supportive treatment, Sadman’s lung infection can be effectively controlled, leading to gradual improvement in his fever, cough, and breathing difficulty. Proper medical care will help stabilize his condition, support his recovery, and reduce the risk of further complications, giving him a strong chance to return to normal growth and health. Close monitoring will ensure that any worsening of his condition is managed quickly. However, if left untreated, the pneumonia may become more severe, causing serious breathing problems and other life-threatening complications. At such a young age, any delay in treatment can be extremely dangerous and may seriously threaten his life.
