Arfan Ahmed Meraj is a calm and polite 5-year-old boy who loves playing football and dreams of becoming an engineer one day. He lives with his parents and two brothers in a fragile home where his father, Alomgir Hossain, earns only around 6,000 BDT per month as a day laborer, making it very difficult to manage emergency medical expenses. Arfan became seriously ill with continuous fever, vomiting, weakness, stomach problems, loose stools, and loss of appetite, which made him unable to play or eat properly and caused deep concern for his family. His family first went to a government hospital, but as his condition did not improve, they later came to New Evercare Hospital after learning about Helpster Charity through a healthcare worker. Without proper treatment, the typhoid infection could become more severe and lead to serious complications, severe weakness, dehydration, and danger to his health.

Arfan Ahmed Meraj was admitted on 23.04.2026 with typhoid fever. At the time of admission, he had persistent fever, vomiting,and marked weakness. After admission, he received proper medical management including antibiotics, intravenous fluids, symptomatic treatment, and close monitoring. He was kept under continuous observation with supportive nursing care to control infection, maintain hydration, and improve his overall condition. With better medical management and attentive nursing care, his condition gradually improved day by day. His fever subsided, appetite returned, weakness reduced. After successful treatment and full recovery, he was discharged on 28.04.2026 in a stable and safe condition.

The doctor has recommended immediate hospital admission for Meraj so that he can receive proper antibiotics, medication, and other supportive care. With timely treatment, his fluid levels can be restored, his weakness will improve, and he will have a strong chance of making a full recovery. Supportive therapy will help his body regain strength and prevent further complications. However, if he is left untreated, it can lead to serious complications such as intestinal perforation, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, seizures, meningitis, and myocarditis. Without urgent care, this condition could become life-threatening for such a young child.
