Jayden is a six-month-old baby who is cheerful, active, and growing well for his age. He lives with his mother in a rural village, where she is the family's sole provider. She depends on casual labor to earn a modest income, which is often insufficient to meet basic household needs, including healthcare expenses whenever Jayden becomes ill. Despite these financial hardships, his mother remains devoted to providing him with love, care, and the best possible support. Jayden was brought to the health facility after developing persistent diarrhea, repeated vomiting, cough, difficulty in breathing, reduced activity, poor feeding, and excessive crying. As his illness progressed, he became increasingly weak, lethargic, irritable, and unable to retain feeds, with rapid, labored breathing and signs of significant respiratory distress. His condition had deteriorated to the point that he required urgent medical attention. Following thorough clinical examination and laboratory investigations, he was diagnosed with severe pneumonia. Owing to the seriousness of his illness, Jayden was admitted for immediate treatment, close monitoring, supportive care, and further investigations to prevent life-threatening complications.

Jayden brought to the hospital presenting with; diarrhea, Cough, vomiting everything, reduced activities and crying a lot for the last two days. On examination and laboratory investigation and based on findings, he was diagnosed with severe Pneumonia. Was admitted for treatment and management and was given; I.v Xpen, Gentamicin, I.v pcm and p.o cetricine. He responded positively to medication and discharged on fair condition.

Jayden was diagnosed with severe pneumonia, a life-threatening lung infection that significantly impaired his breathing and oxygen delivery. Given his young age and the severity of his symptoms, urgent hospitalization was necessary to provide intravenous antibiotics, oxygen therapy as needed, adequate nutrition and fluids, and close monitoring for complications such as respiratory failure or sepsis. With completion of therapy, proper nutrition, routine immunization, and regular follow-up, Jayden's prognosis is favorable, and he is expected to make a full recovery with no lasting complications.
