Md. Mehedi Hasan Musa is a 9-year-old boy who dreams of completing his education and becoming a teacher in the future. He lives with his family in difficult financial circumstances, where his father works as a day laborer and struggles to provide for the household. Although doctors advised surgery several years ago, the family could not afford the treatment, and his condition has gradually worsened, causing swelling, recurrent infections, and difficulty passing urine. Without timely surgery, he may develop severe urinary problems, repeated infections, chronic pain, and long-term complications affecting his urinary problem. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Dr. Miju and later sought assistance from Helpster Volunteer Bablu Abdullah.

Md. Mehedi Hasan Musa, a 9-year-old boy, had been suffering from complications related to a right-sided hydrocele since the age of five. He also suffered from phimosis (tight foreskin), recurrent penile infections, and narrowing of the urinary opening, which made urination very difficult. After a thorough medical examination and diagnosis, he was found to have a right-sided hydrocele and phimosis. He was admitted to Jamuna Clinic on May 22, 2026, and underwent surgery on May 23, 2026. Following the surgery, his condition remained stable and satisfactory. After receiving postoperative care, he recovered well and was discharged in good health on May 28, 2026. At the time of discharge, his father and mother came to the hospital to take him home. The family expressed their sincere gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic, and Md. Abdullah Miah for their dedicated treatment and continuous support throughout the process. His mother was especially thankful to Helpster for the financial assistance provided during his treatment.

According to the treating doctors, Hydrocelectomy and Circumcision surgery offer an excellent chance of resolving Mehedi’s current health problems and improving his quality of life. The procedures will remove the hydrocele, relieve swelling and discomfort, correct the tight foreskin, reduce the risk of recurrent infections, and improve normal urine flow. Following successful surgery, he is expected to return to his regular activities, attend school comfortably, and enjoy healthy growth and development. However, if left untreated, he may continue to suffer from recurrent penile infections, worsening urinary obstruction, persistent pain, and increasing swelling. Over time, these complications could lead to severe urinary problems, chronic infection, and long-term damage affecting his urinary flow.
