Riden is a one-year-old child and the second-born in a family of two children. He lives with his mother, grandmother, and a cousin at his grandmother’s home, a small one-bedroom mud-walled house. His mother is a single parent who stays at home to care for the children and has no stable source of income. The family mainly depends on the grandmother, a small-scale farmer, who earns a modest income from farming activities to support the household. Riden became ill three days before being brought to the hospital. His mother reported that he had recurrent fever, cough, and later developed vomiting. Over the following days, his condition worsened significantly. He became weak, less active than usual, had poor feeding, and appeared increasingly unwell, causing great concern to his family. Realizing that he required urgent medical attention, his mother decided to take him to the hospital. However, she had no money to pay for consultation, investigations, or treatment and was worried that her son would not receive care. While seeking help at the facility, a staff member informed her about the free treatment program for vulnerable children supported by Helpster Charity Organization. Relieved and grateful, she gladly enrolled her son in the program, happy that he would receive the medical care and treatment he urgently needed.

RIDEN WAS MANAGED WITH ANTIBIOTICS, ANTIPYRETICS AND OTHER DRUGS AS PER MEDICAL REPORT. HIS CONDITION IMPROVED AND STABILIZED. HE WAS THEN DISCHARGED HOME ON ORAL MEDICATIONS TO COMPLETE AT HOME.

Riden is currently presenting with an acute illness characterized by fever, cough, vomiting, weakness, and poor feeding, all of which are significantly affecting his overall wellbeing. He is requiring close medical assessment, treatment, and monitoring to prevent further deterioration and to address the underlying cause of his symptoms. His young age places him at increased risk of complications, making timely intervention especially important. At present, he is receiving appropriate medical care and supportive treatment. He is being closely monitored for improvement in feeding, activity levels, hydration status, and resolution of symptoms. Prognosis is good
