Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About urology
Md. Shadi Mia has been diagnosed with Urethrocutaneous Fistula following Urethroplasty (Hypospadias Repair), a condition in which an abnormal passage develops between the urethra and the skin after previous surgery for hypospadias. As a result, urine leaks through an unintended opening instead of flowing normally, causing painful urination, recurrent infections, abdominal discomfort, and irritation of the surrounding skin.

Background
Md. Shadi Mia is a 10-year-old boy who has suffered from urinary problems since birth and dreams of living a normal childhood free from pain and discomfort. He lives with his parents and brother in a rented house, where his father works as a day laborer with an irregular income that is barely enough to cover the family's daily needs, making the cost of specialized surgery impossible to afford. Despite his condition, Shadi is a gentle and resilient child, but years of painful urination, recurrent fever, and urine leakage have affected his health and quality of life. His parents are deeply worried as repeated infections and urinary problems continue to worsen, while their financial hardship prevents them from arranging the necessary treatment. Without timely surgery, he may develop severe urinary tract infections, urinary obstruction, kidney damage, and long-term urinary complications that could seriously affect his future health and well-being. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Volunteer Jamilur Reza and sought support for Shadi’s treatment.
Medical history
On 12/05/2026, a boy named Md Shadi Mia came to us after learning about the free medical services offered by Helpster Charity. He sought assistance for his Hypospadias condition. We immediately arranged for him to be examined by a doctor. After assessing his condition, the doctor recommended several diagnostic tests and advised that surgery was necessary. On the same day, 12/05/2026, we arranged for the surgery to be performed by a qualified surgeon. The operation was completed successfully without any complications. Following the procedure, he stayed in the post-operative recovery room for a short period before being transferred to a hospital cabin. Under the careful supervision of the doctors and through regular follow-up care provided by the nursing staff, he gradually recovered and showed steady improvement. On 18/05/2026, he was discharged from the hospital in good health and returned home safely. Md Shadi Mia and his family were extremely happy with the successful outcome of the treatment. They expressed their heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to Helpster Charity for making his treatment possible. They also conveyed their best wishes for the continued success and prosperity of Helpster Charity. Furthermore, they extended their sincere thanks to Modern Hospital for the excellent care, support, and medical services provided throughout his treatment and recovery.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctors, surgical repair of the fistula tract is necessary to restore normal urine flow, stop urine leakage, and prevent recurrent infections. Successful surgery is expected to relieve Shadi’s pain and discomfort, improve his urinary function, and allow him to lead a healthier and more confident life. If left untreated, he may continue to suffer from repeated urinary tract infections, skin irritation, urinary obstruction, and worsening urinary problems. Over time, these complications can lead to kidney damage, severe infections, and long-term urinary complications.
