Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About digestion system
Rupayon Roy has been diagnosed with left sided congenital inguinal hernia, a condition present since birth in which abdominal tissue protrudes through weakened muscles in the groin on left sides. This causes visible swelling and pain, especially during coughing, crying, or physical activity, which has increasingly affected his daily life. Without timely surgical treatment, the hernia can become trapped or strangulated, cutting off blood supply and leading to serious, life-threatening complications. Early intervention is essential to relieve his pain, prevent emergencies, and allow him to grow and live a healthy childhood.
Thank you for saving this life!

Background
Rupayon Roy is a cheerful, polite, and hardworking 9-year-old boy who loves playing with his friends and dreams of attending school regularly to build a brighter future for his family. He lives in a small tin-roofed house with six other family members, where his father, a daily wage laborer, is the sole earning member with an income of only around BDT 6,000 per month. This limited income is barely enough to provide food and other basic necessities for the seven-member family, making the cost of surgery impossible for them to afford. For the past two years, Rupayon has suffered from a swelling in his left groin, which has recently become increasingly painful and has begun affecting his daily activities. Without timely treatment, the hernia could become trapped and cut off blood supply to the intestine, leading to severe pain, infection, emergency surgery, and potentially life-threatening complications.
Medical history
The patient, Rupayon was admitted to City Clinic on 09th April 2026. A successful Herniotomy operation was performed the same day. The child progressed well and were discharged on 13th June 2026 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.
Prognosis
Doctors have advised that Rupayon Roy urgently needs a herniotomy with repair, a surgical procedure that can completely correct her inguinal hernia and save him from further complications. With timely surgery, the pain and swelling will disappear, allowing him to return to school, play freely with friends, and grow up healthy and strong. Doctors are optimistic that after the operation he will recover well and live a normal life without long-term problems. However, if the condition is left untreated, the hernia may become trapped and cut off blood supply to the intestine, leading to severe pain, infection, and internal damage. In such situations, the condition can quickly become life-threatening, making this surgery not only important but potentially life-saving for Rupayon.
