Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Medical history
Ayzan Hossain, a 3 month 10 days old baby, was admitted to Narayanganj Poly Clinic General Hospital on 19-05-2026 with complaints of fever, cough, runny nose, and breathing difficulty. After clinical examination and investigations including CBC, CRP, and Chest X-ray, he was diagnosed with Severe Pneumonia on 19-05-2026. The baby received conservative treatment under close medical supervision. Supportive management, oxygen monitoring, antibiotics, fever management, nebulization, and other necessary medications were provided according to his condition. Due to the severity of pneumonia and risk of respiratory failure and sepsis, emergency treatment and continuous observation were ensured to improve his respiratory condition and stabilise his health. After receiving proper treatment and gradual clinical improvement, the baby was discharged from the hospital on 24-05-2026.
Prognosis
According to the doctors, Ayzan Hossain urgently requires hospitalization, antibiotic therapy, nebulization, and other supportive treatment to control the severe lung infection and improve his breathing. With proper medical care and close observation, his fever, cough, breathing difficulty, and weakness are expected to improve gradually, helping him recover safely and continue normal growth and development. Timely treatment is very important to prevent the infection from spreading further inside his lungs and body. Without urgent treatment and supportive care, severe pneumonia may rapidly worsen and lead to respiratory failure, severe infection throughout the body, and life-threatening complications.
