Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About digestion system
Most. Mim has been diagnosed with Acute Appendicitis. Acute appendicitis is a serious condition in which the appendix becomes inflamed and infected, causing severe pain in the right lower abdomen, fever, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal tenderness. Her symptoms indicate that the infection is progressing, making her condition a surgical emergency that requires immediate treatment. An emergency appendicectomy is essential to remove the infected appendix and prevent rupture, severe abdominal infection (peritonitis), sepsis, and other life-threatening complications, allowing her to make a full recovery.

Background
Most. Mim Akter is a polite, devoted, and hardworking young woman who dreams of becoming an Alema and spends her free time reciting the Holy Quran. She lives with her parents and younger brother, Md. Shanto, and the family depends entirely on her father Mijanur Rahman's small monthly income of only 6,000 BDT, making the cost of emergency surgery impossible to afford. Despite receiving treatment from a local doctor, her severe abdominal pain continued to worsen, and doctors at New Evercare Hospital diagnosed her with acute appendicitis, requiring urgent surgical treatment. Without timely surgery, her appendix could rupture, leading to severe infection, peritonitis, sepsis, and life-threatening complications. After learning about Helpster Charity through a leaflet, the family is now seeking support to save Mim's life and help her return to her studies and future dreams.
Medical history
Most. Mim Akter was admitted to the hospital on 18.05.2026 with a diagnosis of acute appendicitis after presenting with severe pain in the right lower abdomen, fever, nausea, and vomiting. Following a thorough clinical assessment and necessary investigations, the attending surgeon recommended an emergency appendectomy to prevent the risk of appendix rupture and other serious complications. The surgery was performed successfully on the same day under appropriate anesthesia. After the operation, Mim was kept under close medical observation and received comprehensive postoperative care, including medications, pain management, intravenous fluids, and regular nursing support. Her condition improved steadily during her hospital stay, with gradual relief of pain and a good recovery of normal bodily functions. Due to timely surgical intervention, effective medical management, and quality nursing care, she recovered well without any major complications. As her condition became stable and secure, she was discharged from the hospital on 21.05.2026 with advice for follow-up care and recovery at home.
Prognosis
The recommended treatment is an emergency appendectomy to remove the inflamed appendix and prevent further complications. With timely surgery and proper postoperative care, Mim Akter is expected to make a full recovery and return to her normal daily activities. However, if treatment is delayed, the appendix may rupture, leading to serious and potentially life-threatening complications such as peritonitis, abscess formation, and sepsis.
