Kaniz Fatema is a 10-month-old baby girl who lives with her parents and elderly grandparents in a single room at Millat Bihari Camp in Mirpur, Dhaka. Her father works as a laborer in a boutique workshop and earns only around BDT 9,500 per month, which is the family's sole source of income and is barely enough to meet the needs of five family members. As a result, the family cannot afford the high cost of hospitalization and treatment for her serious illness. After recently recovering from pneumonia, Kaniz developed high fever, cough, cold, and a widespread rash, and doctors now suspect measles along with severe pneumonia. Despite visiting several government hospitals, her family was unable to secure admission, and without urgent treatment, she remains at risk of severe breathing difficulties, serious infection, and other life-threatening complications. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a doctor who informed them about the organization's support for vulnerable patients.

Kaniz Fatema was admitted to Olympus Hospital on 01-06-2026 with severe pneumonia and measles, presenting with fever, cough, cold, and a widespread skin rash. During her hospital stay, doctors performed necessary investigations, closely monitored her condition, and provided antibiotics along with supportive treatment to control the infection and stabilize her health. Gradually, her fever subsided, the infection improved, and her overall condition became stable. After showing significant recovery, she was discharged from the hospital on 10-06-2026 with advice for follow-up care.
