Mashudur Rahman is a 6-year-old boy who lives with his parents in a small tin-roofed house and is dearly loved by his family. His father works as a day laborer and earns only about BDT 5,500 per month. When Mashudur became seriously ill with diarrhea, vomiting, fever, and a lung infection, his parents became deeply worried but could not afford the treatment he urgently needed. Without timely treatment, his condition could worsen, leading to severe dehydration, serious infection, breathing problems, and other life-threatening complications. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Helpster Volunteer Tanjila Shahin Ema and sought support for their son's treatment.

Mashudur Rahman was admitted to Seba Hospital on 01 June 2026 with diarrhea, vomiting, fever, cough, and mild dehydration caused by a stomach infection and a chest infection. He remained hospitalized for several days and was closely monitored by the doctors and nurses throughout his treatment. During his stay, he received medicines, fluids, and supportive care to help control the infections, restore lost fluids, and improve his overall condition. His health gradually improved with treatment, and he was discharged on 09 June 2026 with advice for continued care at home. At the time of discharge, the patient's family expressed their sincere gratitude to the Seba Hospital team for their support and care.

According to the treating doctors, hospitalization, hydration therapy, antibiotics, nebulization, and supportive treatment are essential to control Masudur’s infection, restore lost body fluids, improve his breathing, and support a full recovery. With timely treatment, his fever, diarrhea, vomiting, dehydration, and lung infection are expected to resolve, allowing him to return to his normal activities and healthy growth. If left untreated, dehydration may worsen and the lung infection could spread, leading to severe weakness, breathing difficulties, low oxygen levels, serious infection, and other life-threatening complications.
