Kashfia Akter is a bright, creative, and cheerful 13-year-old girl who studies in Class 6 and dreams of becoming a successful professional so she can support her parents and build a better future for her family. Her father works as a rickshaw puller and struggles to provide for the family, while her mother manages the household and cares for Kashfia and her 5-year-old younger brother, leaving them unable to afford expensive medical treatment. During her 4-day hospital stay, she received life-saving conservative care, including immediate oxygen therapy, intravenous antibiotics, and regular nebulization to treat her severe pneumonia and acute rhinosinusitis. Thanks to this timely intervention, her respiratory distress was fully stabilized, and she was safely discharged on June 5, 2026, with her health significantly improved. To ensure a full recovery and prevent a relapse of her Grade 2 adenoid symptoms, she is now safely back home under the camp's care, strictly following her vital 3-month post-discharge medication and nasal spray regimen.

The recommended treatment includes oxygen therapy, IV antibiotics, nebulization, nasal saline drops, nasal decongestants, intranasal corticosteroid spray, antihistamines, and close medical monitoring to control the infection, improve breathing, and reduce airway inflammation.
