Mohammad Ayas is a hardworking and respectful 12-year-old boy who studies at a Hafezkhana and dreams of becoming a Hafez and Islamic scholar in the future. He lives with his parents and five siblings in a refugee shelter, where the family survives mainly on food assistance because his father's poor physical and mental health limits his ability to earn an income. After a fall caused a fracture in his right forearm, Ayas experienced severe pain, swelling, and difficulty using his hand, leaving his family worried but unable to afford the necessary orthopedic treatment. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Helpster Volunteer Ahammod Ali Azad while seeking help for his medical care. Without proper treatment and immobilization, the fractured bones may heal incorrectly, leading to permanent deformity, In severe cases, untreated complications such as infection spreading through the body can become life-threatening

Mohammed Ayas was admitted to Orion Hospital on 01.06.2026 with a fracture of his right forearm following a fall and underwent successful surgical treatment (ORIF) to properly align and stabilize the broken bones. During his 6-day hospital stay, he received surgery, pain management, immobilization, regular monitoring, and postoperative care to support healing and recovery. His condition gradually improved, with reduced pain and better arm stability, and he was discharged on 07.06.2026 with advice for follow-up care and rehabilitation. Throughout his treatment journey, Helpster Volunteer Ahammod Ali Azad provided valuable support and coordination. According to the doctors, Mohammed Ayas has a good chance of making a full recovery if he undergoes Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF) of the right radius and ulna, followed by proper follow-up care and rehabilitation. The surgery will help align and stabilize the broken bones, reduce pain, restore normal arm function, and allow the bones to heal correctly. With timely treatment, he is expected to regain the ability to use his arm for daily activities, education, and future work without significant limitations. However, if left untreated, the fracture may heal improperly, leading to permanent deformity, chronic pain, restricted movement, and long-term disability.
