Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About infections
Aisha is diagnosed with Malaria and Colitis. Malaria is a potentially life-threatening infectious disease caused by parasites transmitted to humans through the bite of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. Once inside the human body, the parasites multiply in the liver and then infect red blood cells, causing recurrent cycles of symptoms, including high fever, chills, fatigue, and, in severe cases, organ damage or failure.This stage of the disease is defined by the evidence of vital organ dysfunction. Colitis refers to inflammation of the inner lining of the colon, which is a part of the large intestine. It's a condition that can cause discomfort and various digestive issues. Symptoms of colitis can vary depending on the type but often include abdominal pain and cramping, diarrhea (which may be bloody), an urgent need to defecate, and weight loss.

Background
Aisha, who is 9 years old and the second child in her family, goes to an Islamic school and really enjoys sewing Hausa caps. On December 28th, her mom noticed that Aisha was having a high fever and stomach pains. But they didn't go to the hospital right away. It was only a few days later, after learning about the Helpster Charity, that her mom decided to take her for medical help.
Medical history
Aisha Mohammed was examined by Doctor Oche of Nakowa Hospital and after examination, drugs were prescribed to her. She got the drugs at the Hospital's pharmacy.
Prognosis
Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences.
