The family learned about Helpster Charity through a staff member of Life Care Hospital, giving them hope when they had no other way to pay for his treatment. With timely medical care, Akash has the opportunity to recover fully, return to school, and continue pursuing his dreams.

Atikur Rahman Akash was admitted to the hospital on 10 May 2026 after suffering from fever and abdominal pain for seven days. Following a thorough medical examination and necessary diagnostic tests, doctors diagnosed him with typhoid fever. He received appropriate medical treatment, medications, and close monitoring from the hospital’s medical team. With timely treatment and continuous care, Akash’s condition gradually improved over the following days. He responded well to the medications, and his fever subsided while his overall strength and appetite began to return. He was discharged from the hospital on 15 May 2026 in stable condition. Akash’s family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, its volunteers, and the hospital staff for their generous support and compassionate care, which played a vital role in his recovery.

With timely administration of appropriate antibiotics and supportive treatment, Akash’s typhoid infection can be effectively controlled, leading to a gradual reduction in fever and relief from abdominal pain. Proper medical care will help restore his strength, improve his appetite, and enable him to return to his normal daily activities, including attending school. With close monitoring and adequate treatment, the chances of a full recovery are very high. However, if left untreated, typhoid fever can worsen and lead to severe dehydration, prolonged illness, intestinal complications, or the spread of infection throughout the body. In severe cases, these complications can become life-threatening and have a significant impact on his overall health and development.
