Sabana Parvin, a 25-year-old woman who is 39 weeks pregnant, has been diagnosed with breech presentation and anemia. Breech presentation means the baby is positioned feet or buttocks first instead of the normal head-down position, which can make a normal delivery risky and often necessitates a cesarean section (C-section). She is also suffering from anemia, a condition in which the body has a lower-than-normal level of healthy red blood cells needed to carry oxygen throughout the body.

Sabana Parvin is a caring and devoted 25-year-old mother who always puts the needs of her family before her own and hopes to safely welcome her second child into the world. She lives with her husband, their 8-year-old son, and her husband's elderly parents, and her husband is the only earning member, working as a day laborer with a monthly income of only BDT 7,000, making it impossible for the family to afford the cost of the emergency treatment she urgently needs. Doctors have found that she is carrying a full-term baby in a breech position and is also suffering from anemia, and without timely treatment, both mother and baby could face serious, potentially life-threatening complications, including prolonged labor, severe bleeding, lack of oxygen to the baby, birth injury, or even loss of life. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a staff member of Life Care Hospital, giving them hope when they had no other way to pay for her treatment. With timely medical care, Sabana and her baby have the best chance of a safe delivery and a healthy future together
Medical history
Sabana Parvin was admitted to the hospital on 02/05/2026 at 39 weeks of pregnancy after doctors diagnosed her with breech presentation and anemia, conditions that made a normal delivery risky. Considering the potential complications, doctors performed a planned Lower Uterine Caesarean Section (LUCS), and the surgery was successfully completed, resulting in the safe birth of her baby. After the operation, Sabana received proper medical care, medications, and nutritional support, and both mother and baby gradually recovered in stable condition. She was discharged from the hospital on 05/05/2026 in good health. Sabana Parvin and her family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity, its volunteers, and the medical team at Life Care Hospital for their generous support and timely assistance in ensuring a safe delivery and the well-being of both mother and child.
Prognosis
Doctors have recommended a Lower Uterine Caesarean Section (LUCS) along with supportive treatment to safely deliver Sabana Parvin’s baby and ensure the well-being of both mother and child. With timely surgery and proper medical care, a safe delivery is expected, after which Sabana can gradually recover and care for her newborn and family. The procedure will help reduce the risks associated with breech presentation and anemia, ensuring a safer outcome for both mother and baby. However, without proper treatment and delivery management, there is a significant risk of complications during labor and childbirth, which may endanger the lives of both Sabana and her baby, making timely medical intervention essential.
