Most Aisha Siddika is a 17-year-old primigravida at 367+ weeks of gestation with a single live fetus. Ultrasonography (USG) confirms that the fetus is in breech presentation. Breech presentation indicates that the fetus is not in the cephalic (head-down) position, which increases the risk of complications during vaginal delivery, especially in a first pregnancy. Given her young age and primigravida status, this case requires careful monitoring and appropriate delivery planning.
Background
Mrs. Aisha Siddika is a kind and hopeful 17-year-old woman who is eagerly waiting to welcome her first child and dreams of giving her baby a healthy start in life. She lives with her husband, a day laborer whose limited income is barely enough to cover the family's daily expenses, making it impossible to afford the cost of the emergency medical care she urgently needs. Doctors have found that her baby is in a breech position, and without timely treatment, both Aisha and her unborn baby could face serious, potentially life-threatening complications during delivery, including prolonged labor, severe bleeding, birth injury, or loss of life. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Abdul Mannan, an OT Assistant, whose guidance gave them hope when they had no way to pay for her treatment. With timely medical care, Aisha and her baby have the best chance of a safe delivery and a healthy future together.
Medical history
Most Aisha Siddika was admitted to the hospital on June 14, 2026 with a diagnosis of first time pregnancy and Breech presentation. On the same day, she successfully underwent a cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both mother and newborn remained in good condition and were discharged on June 19, 2026. Upon discharge, Husband and mother-in-law came to the hospital to receive both the mother and the newborn. The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic, and Md. Abdullah Miah for their dedicated treatment and continuous support throughout the process. Aisha's husband was especially thankful to Helpster for providing crucial financial assistance during the treatment.
Prognosis
The attending doctor has advised LUCS (Lower Uterine Cesarean Section) as the safest mode of delivery, given that the fetus is in breech presentation at 36+ weeks of gestation. In such cases, cesarean delivery significantly reduces the risks associated with vaginal breech birth, particularly for a primigravida patient. Timely LUCS can help ensure the safe delivery of the baby, minimizing the chances of birth trauma, oxygen deprivation (birth asphyxia), and fetal distress. If left unmanaged and labor progresses naturally, there is a high risk of serious complications. The baby may suffer from trauma, asphyxia, or even death, while the mother may face life-threatening conditions such as severe hemorrhage, uterine rupture, or infection.
