Lavina is a six-year-old girl and the youngest child in a family of four children. She lives with her mother and siblings. Her mother earns a living by selling groceries at a nearby market and is the sole provider for the family. Lavina attends a local school, enjoys playing hide-and-seek with her friends, and dreams of becoming a police officer when she grows up. According to her mother, Lavina had been in good health until about seven days before presentation when she developed fever and itchy skin lesions on different parts of her body. Initially, the lesions were small, but they progressively worsened and became increasingly uncomfortable. Two days before admission, the lesions on her right lower limb became markedly swollen, red, warm, and extremely painful, making it difficult for her to walk and play normally. Several blisters ruptured, releasing yellowish discharge suggestive of a secondary bacterial infection. As her condition deteriorated, she became weak, irritable, and less active than usual, prompting her mother to seek urgent medical attention at the health facility for further evaluation and treatment.

Patient came in with complains of hotness of the body, pruritic skin lesions for the past one week,on clinical examination was febrile.Investigations done and a diagnosis of chicken pox was made.Lavina Andeo was managed on calamine Lotion for topical use,oral floxapen and brustan syrup .
