Md. Waliullah is a well-mannered, polite, and hardworking 6-year-old boy who studies in the First Jamaat of a local madrasa and dreams of continuing his education. He lives with his parents, elder brother Arafat, younger sister Afrin, and his elderly grandparents in a financially struggling family where his father, a sharecropper farmer, is the sole earner with a monthly income of only BDT 7,000–8,000. Following a severe electrical burn injury to his left hand, Waliullah has been suffering from intense pain, difficulty moving his fingers, and an unhealed wound that now requires urgent surgery. The cost of treatment is far beyond the family's means, as they are already struggling to provide food, education, and healthcare for seven family members. Md. Waliullah was admitted to Al-Aqsa Hospital & Diagnostic Center on 21 May 2026 after suffering an electrical burn injury to the middle three fingers of his left hand. Due to the severity of the wound and the damage to the affected fingers, doctors recommended surgical treatment. On 23 May 2026, he underwent a successful operation involving wound excision and coverage of the damaged area with a skin graft. He remained in the hospital for four days, during which he received medicines, wound care, and close monitoring from the medical team. As his condition improved and the surgical site showed satisfactory healing, he was discharged on 25 May 2026 with medications and follow-up instructions. Waliullah and his family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity, its dedicated volunteers, and the medical team at Al-Aqsa Hospital & Diagnostic Center for their generous support, compassionate care, and for helping him regain hope for a healthy future.

According to the treating doctors, Md. Waliullah has a good chance of recovery if the recommended surgery is performed on time. The procedure will remove the damaged tissue and cover the wound with healthy skin, helping the injury heal properly and improving the movement and function of his fingers. This treatment is expected to reduce pain, prevent further damage, and allow him to use his hand more normally in daily activities. However, if left untreated, the wound may become infected and lead to permanent stiffness, deformity of the fingers, and loss of hand function.
