Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About infections
Pneumonia develops when the defensive mechanisms within the lung become overwhelmed by a pathogen which has been either inhaled or aspirated. It is associated with a high mortality rate and significant morbidity. Severe pneumonia is frequently a multisystem disease and patients will often present with multiple organ failure.

Background
Jazmine is just one month old, and her mother is a teenager who is still attending school. Jazmine was taken to the hospital because she had a fever, a stuffy nose, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Medical history
Was presented in the facility with complains fever, nasal congestion, vomiting and loose stool for three days. On observation the patient was sick looking with temperature of 38"C. Sample was taken to lab and the result was positive which was pneumonia and sepsis. The patient was treated on antibiotics and was discharged to go home after assessment for 3hrs
Prognosis
Pneumonia should be treated with antibiotics. If left untreated, pneumonia may lead to the permanent lung damage, respiratory failure, septicaemia (infection entering blood stream and causing sepsis), pleural effusion (accumulation of fluid in the space between the lung and chest wall, which can make breathing difficult), and other life-threatening complications.
