Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About emergency care

Hafsat was diagnosed with severe malaria, a serious and potentially life-threatening illness caused by infection with malaria parasites transmitted through the bite of infected mosquitoes. The condition commonly presents with high fever, chills, headache, weakness, and anemia. She experienced a persistent high-grade fever, severe headache, and weakness for about one week. Laboratory investigations revealed Malaria Parasite (MP) +++, indicating a heavy malaria infection, while his PCV of 29% showed evidence of anemia. These findings confirmed severe malaria and required urgent medical intervention to prevent complications such as severe anemia, convulsions, organ failure, or death. Prompt treatment with antimalarial medications and supportive care was provided, leading to a successful recovery.
