Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About digestion system
Abdominal mass associated with weight loss and weakness. Given the ascites, abdominal distension suggests a possible intra-abdominal sarcoma or lymphoma. Urgent laparotomy and excisional biopsy is needed to confirm the diagnosis. Abdominal sarcoma is a rare cancer of the soft tissues in the abdomen, while abdominal lymphoma affects the lymphatic system in the same region. Treatment includes surgery, chemotherapy, and sometimes radiation, depending on the type and stage

Medical history
The above named was brought to this facility on the 11th of January 2024, with history of abdominal swelling and mass of one year duration. After thorough examination, a provision of abdominal mass query cause was made. we carried out various investigations including Abdominal pelvic ultrasound, and CT Abdomen, with the CT report and biopsy and ascitic fluid cytology report, we proceeded with surgery (laparotomy) to remove the mass on the 14th of March 2024. The mass was bent for histology and the result came back as high grave serious carcinoma. The report was sent to our visiting oncologist who insisted we should pay consultation fee of fifty thousand before outlining the treatment plan. In new of the request of the constant oncologist and the attendant financial requirement that may follow, we decided to leave this aspect of the treatment for the family to take over.
Prognosis
The prognosis is unsure till the diagnosis is confirmed but is dependent upon early detection & treatment, tumor resectability, response to chemotherapy, and presence of metastases. With modern treatment approaches, many children with lymphomas and sarcomas can achieve long-term remission or cure.
