Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About infections
Md. Robiul Islam has been diagnosed with a peritonsillar abscess. A peritonsillar abscess is a serious bacterial infection that causes a collection of pus near the tonsils, usually developing as a complication of untreated or severe tonsillitis. The infection can cause severe throat pain, difficulty swallowing, fever, and an inability to eat or drink properly, significantly affecting a child's health and daily activities. Without timely treatment, the infection may spread to the deep tissues of the neck or bloodstream, leading to airway obstruction, severe sepsis, and other potentially life-threatening complications.
Background
Md. Robiul Islam is a polite and hardworking 8-year-old boy who enjoys going to school and dreams of completing his education despite his family's poverty. He lives with his parents, siblings, and grandparents, where his father is the only earning member, working as a poor farmer with a limited income that is barely enough to provide food and other basic necessities, making it impossible for the family to afford the cost of his urgent surgery. He has been diagnosed with a peritonsillar abscess, and without timely treatment, the infection could spread rapidly, causing airway obstruction, severe breathing difficulty, bloodstream infection (sepsis), multiple organ failure, and other potentially life-threatening complications. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Mostafa Kamal, who referred them to Bablu Abdullah for assistance, giving them hope when they had no other way to pay for his treatment. With timely medical care, Robiul has the opportunity to recover fully, return to school, and continue pursuing his dreams.
Medical history
Md Robiul Islam was admitted to the hospital on June 26, 2026, after being diagnosed with a Peritonsillar Abscess. He underwent successful surgery the following day. After receiving two days of post-operative care, he was discharged in good health. Upon his discharge, his father and mother came to the hospital to take him home. The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, Jumuna Clinic, and Bablu Abdullah for their compassionate treatment, care, and unwavering support throughout his recovery. Robiul's mother was especially grateful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster, which significantly eased the family's burden during this difficult time. she sincerely thanked everyone involved for their kindness and generosity.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctor, incision and drainage (I&D) of the peritonsillar abscess is urgently required to remove the collection of pus, eliminate the infection, relieve severe throat pain, and restore his ability to eat and swallow normally. With timely surgery and appropriate medications, Robiul is expected to recover fully and return to his normal daily activities. However, if left untreated, the infection may spread rapidly to the deep tissues of the neck or bloodstream, causing airway obstruction, severe breathing difficulty, septic shock, and other potentially life-threatening complications. Early surgical treatment and close medical follow-up provide the best chance for a complete recovery and a healthy future.
