Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Shindha Roy is a 1 years-old baby infant, has been suffering with severe pneumonia, a serious lung infection that causes inflammation and fluid accumulation in the airways. She is experiencing persistent fever last 2 days, cough, rapid and labored breathing, and chest indrawing, all of which indicate significant respiratory distress. Due to his young age, the infection has progressed quickly, making his condition critical and requiring urgent hospital-based treatment with oxygen and antibiotics.

Background
Shindha Roy is a cheerful and innocent 1-year-old girl whose smile brings happiness to her parents and siblings, and her family dreams of watching her grow up healthy and strong. Her father is the family's only earning member, working as a daily laborer and earning only BDT 5,000 per month, while the four-member family lives in a small tin-shed house, making it impossible to afford the cost of hospitalization, oxygen support, and medicines. When Shindha developed severe pneumonia with high fever and increasing difficulty breathing, her condition quickly became critical, leaving her family desperate to save her life. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Sadika Rahman, giving them hope during this difficult time. Without urgent treatment, severe pneumonia could lead to worsening breathing problems, severe infection, permanent lung damage, or even death
Medical history
Shindha Roy is a 1-years-old child, had been battling recurrent respiratory tract infections for the past two days, but this time, her condition worsened as she developed pneumonia. In desperate need of emergency hospitalization, she received critical care at City Clinic, including oxygen therapy, nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, budesonide, and injectable antibiotics, along with hydrocortisone due to the seriousness of her condition.Shindha was admitted on 15/06/26, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 19/06/26. Now, after receiving the care he needed,Shindha is doing well and has returned home, bringing joy back to her family. With tears of gratitude in their eyes, her parents said, "Thank you to Helpster Donors and City Clinic; we are forever grateful for your support!"
Prognosis
According to the doctors, with timely treatment using appropriate antibiotics, oxygen therapy, and supportive care, Shindha has a strong chance of recovery and can go on to live a healthy, normal life. Early and complete treatment will help clear the infection, improve her breathing, and prevent long-term damage to her lungs. However, if the child is left untreated, the pneumonia may rapidly worsen, leading to severe breathing failure, blood infection (sepsis), or even death. At such a young age, delays in treatment greatly increase the risk of permanent complications or loss of life. Immediate medical intervention is therefore critical to saving Shindha's life and securing her future.
