Md. Raiyan is a cheerful and innocent 1-year-old Bangladeshi boy who is the youngest and most beloved child in his family. He lives with his parents, an elder brother in Class Four, and an elder sister in Class Two, all of whom dream of seeing him grow up healthy and happy. His father is a day laborer whose small and irregular income is barely enough to provide food and basic necessities, making the cost of emergency hospital treatment impossible to afford. When Raiyan suddenly developed severe diarrhea, vomiting, dehydration, and abdominal pain, his condition worsened rapidly despite treatment from a local village doctor, leaving his parents desperate and seeking help from neighbors. Doctors warned that without immediate treatment, acute gastroenteritis with severe watery diarrhea could lead to severe dehydration, shock, electrolyte imbalance, organ failure, and even death. After learning about Helpster Charity through volunteer Abu Sayeed, the family finally found hope that Raiyan could receive the life-saving treatment he urgently needed.

Md. Raiyan was admitted to Orion Hospital on 10 June 2026 through Helpster volunteer Abu Sayeed with acute gastroenteritis and severe watery diarrhea, causing repeated vomiting and dehydration. He received immediate hospitalization, fluid therapy, medications, supportive care, and close medical monitoring, responding well to treatment. He was discharged in stable condition on 13 June 2026 with medications, dietary advice, and follow-up instructions. His family sincerely thanks Helpster Charity, its dedicated volunteers, and the medical team at Orion Hospital for their generous financial support, compassionate care, and successful treatment.

According to the treating doctor, immediate hospitalization, fluid replacement, supportive care, infection control, symptom management, and close medical monitoring are essential to treat Md. Raiyan's acute gastroenteritis with severe watery diarrhea. With timely treatment, his diarrhea and vomiting are expected to stop, dehydration will be corrected, abdominal pain will improve, and he will gradually regain his strength, appetite, and normal growth. However, if left untreated, severe fluid loss can rapidly lead to life-threatening dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, shock, kidney injury, seizures, multi-organ failure, and even death, especially in a one-year-old child. Prompt medical intervention is therefore critical to prevent these serious complications and ensure a safe and complete recovery.
