Md. Munajat Mia is a quiet, well-behaved 10-year-old boy who dreams of continuing his education, playing with his friends, and one day helping support his family. He lives with his father, mother, and elder brother in Rangpur, where his father earns only 9,000 BDT per month as a day laborer, making it impossible for the family to afford the enormous costs of ICU care, dialysis, medicines, and hospital treatment. What began as diarrhea and abdominal pain quickly progressed into a life-threatening condition affecting his kidneys, lungs, and other vital organs, leaving him critically ill and dependent on intensive medical care. Without urgent treatment, including dialysis and continuous monitoring, the infection and organ failure could worsen rapidly, putting his life at immediate risk. Through Good Health Hospital and Helpster Charity, the family now has hope that Munajat can receive the lifesaving care needed to recover and return to a normal childhood.

Md. Munajat Mia, a 10-year-old child from Rangpur, was admitted in critical condition with severe multi-organ complications, including AKI on CKD, severe sepsis, MODS, pneumonia, and electrolyte imbalance. He was immediately shifted to the ICU, where intensive care management was started, including dialysis, strong antibiotics, respiratory support, and continuous monitoring.During his hospital stay, the medical team made every possible effort to stabilize his condition. Despite aggressive treatment and close ICU care, his condition remained extremely critical due to advanced infection and multiple organ failure. His recovery was complicated by his weak physical state and delayed access to proper treatment due to severe financial hardship in the family.Unfortunately, despite maximum medical efforts from the doctors, nurses, and volunteers, the child could not recover and passed away on 17/06/2026.

Doctors have advised that Md. Munajat Mia requires immediate and continuous ICU-based treatment with dialysis, strong antibiotics, and close monitoring due to his critical condition involving kidney failure, severe infection, and multiple organ dysfunction. With timely and proper treatment, there is a possibility to control the infection, stabilize kidney function, and gradually improve his overall condition.However, if treatment is delayed or interrupted, his condition may deteriorate rapidly. The combination of AKI on CKD, severe sepsis, pneumonia, and electrolyte imbalance can lead to complete organ failure, life-threatening complications, and may become fatal. Therefore, continuous intensive care is essential for his survival and recovery.
