Aysha Akter is a cheerful, kind-hearted, and hopeful 20-year-old woman who is eagerly waiting to welcome her first child and dreams of building a happy family with her husband. She lives with her husband, Limon Islam, and her in-laws in a family of four, where her husband is the only earning member, working as a day laborer and earning only BDT 5,000 per month, making the cost of an emergency Caesarean section far beyond their means. After an otherwise healthy pregnancy, doctors diagnosed moderate oligohydramnios at 39+ weeks of pregnancy and advised an urgent C-section to protect both mother and baby. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Sadika, giving them hope during this critical time. Without timely surgery, the reduced amniotic fluid could lead to fetal distress, oxygen deprivation, stillbirth, prolonged obstructed labor, and life-threatening complications for both Aysha and her unborn baby.

The patient,Aysha Akter was admitted to City Clinic on 19th June 2026. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy 3.5 kg male baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 23th June 2026 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.

According to the treating doctor, the patient requires urgent hospital admission and a timely Caesarean section (C-section) due to the increased risks associated with moderate oligohydramnios at full-term pregnancy. With prompt surgical intervention and appropriate medical care, the prognosis is favorable, offering a high chance of a safe delivery and recovery for both mother and baby. However, if treatment is delayed or left untreated, the condition may lead to fetal distress, prolonged or obstructed labor, emergency complications, stillbirth, and may pose a serious risk to the lives of both the mother and the baby.
