Most. Reshma Khatun is a kind and hopeful 16-year-old young mother who is eagerly waiting to welcome her first child and dreams of giving her baby a healthy future. She lives with her husband, a day laborer whose limited income is barely enough to provide food and other basic necessities, making it impossible for the family to afford the cost of the surgery she urgently needs. Doctors have found that her baby is in a breech position, and without timely treatment, both Reshma and her unborn baby could face serious, potentially life-threatening complications during delivery, including prolonged labor, severe bleeding, birth injury, or loss of life. The family learned about Helpster Charity through community health worker Rumi Khatun, whose guidance gave them hope when they had no way to pay for her treatment. With timely medical care, Reshma and her baby have the best chance of a safe delivery and a healthy future together.

Most Reshma Khatun was admitted to the hospital on June 18, 2026 with a diagnosis of Breech presentation. On the same day, she successfully underwent a cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Both mother and newborn remained in good condition and were discharged on June 23, 2026. Upon discharge, Husband and mother-in-law came to the hospital to receive both the mother and the newborn. The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic, and Md. Abdullah Miah for their dedicated treatment and continuous support throughout the process. Reshma's husband was especially thankful to Helpster for providing crucial financial assistance during the treatment.

The attending doctor has advised LUCS (Lower Uterine Cesarean Section) as the safest mode of delivery, given that the fetus is in breech presentation at 37+ weeks of gestation. In such cases, cesarean delivery significantly reduces the risks associated with vaginal breech birth, particularly for a primigravida patient. Timely LUCS can help ensure the safe delivery of the baby, minimizing the chances of birth trauma, oxygen deprivation (birth asphyxia), and fetal distress. If left unmanaged and labor progresses naturally, there is a high risk of serious complications. The baby may suffer from trauma, asphyxia, or even death, while the mother may face life-threatening conditions such as severe hemorrhage, uterine rupture, or infection.
