Aroshi Sarker is a precious 2-month-old baby girl who is completely dependent on her parents for survival and care. She lives with her parents and elderly grandfather in a family with no permanent home, where her father is the only earning member, working as a day laborer with a monthly income of only BDT 7,000, making it impossible for the family to afford the cost of her lifesaving treatment while meeting their basic daily needs. She has been diagnosed with severe pneumonia and infected scabies, and without timely treatment, the lung infection and skin infection could rapidly spread throughout her body, leading to respiratory failure, bloodstream infection (sepsis), multiple organ failure, or even death. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Helpster Volunteer Masud Rana, giving them hope when they had no other way to save their baby. With timely medical care, Aroshi has the opportunity to recover completely and grow up as a healthy child.

Aroshi Sarker was admitted to Narayanganj Poly Clinic General Hospital on 15/06/2026 in a critical condition with complaints of cough and cold for 5 days, respiratory distress for 2 days, fever for 1 day, and widespread skin rash for 10 days. After thorough clinical evaluation and investigations, including CBC and Chest X-ray, she was diagnosed with Severe Pneumonia and Infected Scabies. She received conservative treatment, including medications, supportive care, close monitoring, and management of both the respiratory infection and skin infection during her hospital stay. Her condition gradually improved with treatment, and after satisfactory recovery, she was discharged from the hospital on 21/06/2026 with advice for follow-up care and continuation of prescribed medications at home.

According to the treating doctor, hospitalization, intravenous antibiotic therapy, nebulization, and supportive care are essential to control Aroshi's severe pneumonia and treat her infected scabies. With timely treatment, her breathing is expected to improve, the lung and skin infections will gradually resolve, and she has an excellent chance of making a full recovery and growing normally. However, if left untreated, the infections may spread rapidly to the lungs and bloodstream, causing severe respiratory failure, septic shock, multiple organ failure, permanent organ damage, or even death. Early medical treatment and close monitoring provide the best chance of saving her life and ensuring a healthy future.
