Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?

When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About plastic surgery

Left elbow post-burn flexion contracture is a disabling condition caused by scar tissue formation after a burn injury. It restricts elbow extension, limits daily activities, and may cause pain and cosmetic concerns. Early physiotherapy, splinting, and, in severe cases, surgical contracture release with skin grafting or flap coverage can restore function.

Prognosis

Alkasim has a left elbow post-burn flexion contracture causing functional limitation. A left elbow post-burn flexion contracture is a severe, permanent tightening of scar tissue that restricts vital joint movement and requires surgical release and paired with intensive physical therapy to restore arm function and prevent lifelong physical disability. If left untreated, a post-burn flexion contracture of the elbow can lead to permanent joint capsule tightening, muscle atrophy, structural shortening of surrounding nerves and blood vessels, and severe, irreversible loss of arm function. Prognosis is good with appropriate surgical release, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and consistent follow-up to maximize recovery.
