Ayesha S., 7

Ayesha is a 7-year-old girl who lives with her parents and brother in a small tin sheet house near Narayanganj. Her grandfather's home is also in Narayanganj. Ayesha's family relies on her father, who works as a hawker to earn a modest income. Ayesha has been dealing with chronic and recurrent tonsillitis, and her condition has been getting worse over time. To help her feel better, Ayesha needs to have a tonsillectomy operation. However, her family is unable to afford the cost of this medical treatment. Recently, Ayesha's family learned about Helpster and a polyclinic that provides assistance. They are hoping for support from generous donors through Helpster Charity. Despite her ongoing health challenges, Ayesha still manages to smile.

Ayesha suffered from chronic recurrent tonsillitis, with her tonsils becoming enlarged and congested. This condition led to a severe sore throat, difficulty swallowing, and shortness of breath. After repeated antibiotic treatments failed, a tonsillectomy was deemed necessary. Dr. Khorshed Alam, an ENT specialist, performed the surgery under general anesthesia with all aseptic precautions. Both tonsils were successfully removed. Ayesha is now doing well and has returned to her normal life.
