Three days before admission, Anne developed a high fever, productive cough, chest congestion, chest pain, wheezing, and poor appetite, leaving her too unwell to attend school. Her grandmother took her to Mechimeru Hospital despite severe financial hardship. After assessing the family's circumstances, the hospital agreed to begin treatment, and Helpster Charity committed to covering Anne's medical expenses to ensure she receives uninterrupted care and a full recovery.

Anne was admitted to the hospital and started on appropriate treatment for severe pneumonia, including antibiotics, oxygen therapy as needed, medications to reduce fever and relieve symptoms, adequate fluids, and nutritional support. Her condition was closely monitored by the medical team, and she attended follow-up reviews to assess her progress. With consistent treatment and supportive care, Anne's fever subsided, her breathing improved, the cough and chest pain reduced, and she gradually regained her appetite and strength. She is expected to make a full recovery and resume her normal activities, including returning to school.
