Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Severe malaria is a life-threatening, emergency stage of a malaria infection. It typically occurs when the parasite multiplies to high levels or causes vital organ dysfunction, and is almost always caused by the Plasmodium falciparum parasite. Immediate hospitalization and intravenous treatment are required. Peptic ulcer disease (PUD) is a condition where painful open sores develop in the lining of the stomach (gastric ulcers) or the upper small intestine (duodenal ulcers). These sores occur when stomach acid and digestive enzymes break down the digestive tract's protective mucus layer.

Background
George is a calm boy and the second-born in a family of five children. He enjoys playing volleyball and dreams of becoming an evangelist. He lives with both parents and his siblings in a two-room mud-walled house without electricity. His parents are small-scale farmers who grow maize and beans, relying on the sale of their harvest to provide food, school needs, and other household expenses. Two days before admission, George began feeling unwell and informed his mother. He developed repeated vomiting, high fever, severe body weakness, poor appetite, and was unable to retain food or fluids. As his condition worsened, he became increasingly weak and lethargic. His mother wanted to take him to the hospital but was unable to raise transport fare. When George's condition became critical, a kind neighbour with a motorcycle offered to take them to the hospital free of charge. On arrival, George was febrile, weak, and visibly ill. While at the facility, the family learned about Helpster Charity after a member of staff explained the program, enabling George to receive the medical care he urgently required.
Medical history
GEORGE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH SEVERE MALARIA AND PEPTIC ULCER DISEASE AND WAS MANAGED WITH ANTIMALARIALS, ANTIBIOTICS, ANTIPYRETICS, ANTIACIDS AND OTHER DRUGS AS PER THE MEDICAL REPORT. HE RESPONDED SO WELL TO THE CARE AND MANAGEMENT THAT WAS GIVEN TO HIM AND HE STABILIZED, HE WAS THEN DISCHARGED HOME ON ORAL MEDICATIONS TO COMPLETE AT HOME.
Prognosis
George has been diagnosed with severe malaria complicated by peptic ulcer disease. Severe malaria is a medical emergency that requires prompt treatment, while peptic ulcer disease can worsen vomiting, abdominal pain, poor feeding, and dehydration. He is receiving appropriate antimalarial medication, ulcer treatment, supportive care, and close monitoring. With early diagnosis and completion of treatment, his prognosis is good, and he is expected to recover fully. However, delayed treatment may result in severe malaria complications, gastrointestinal bleeding, or other life-threatening outcomes.
