Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Severe pneumonia is a life-threatening lung infection where the alveoli fill with fluid or pus, causing severe difficulty breathing and a dangerous drop in blood oxygen levels. It typically requires emergency care and hospitalization to manage breathing with oxygen therapy, ventilators, and strong intravenous medications and Severe malaria is a life-threatening medical emergency caused when a malaria infection leads to vital organ failure, abnormal blood counts, or metabolic changes. It is most often caused by the parasite Plasmodium falciparum. Without fast treatment, it can cause death within hours or days while Moderate anemia is a blood disorder defined as a hemoglobin level between 8.0 and 10.9 g/dL, causing noticeable symptoms like persistent fatigue, dizziness, and shortness of breath that require medical evaluation and targeted treatment.

Background
Sharlyne is a humble, respectful, and hardworking 15-year-old girl in Form Two at a local day secondary school. She enjoys reading novels and dreams of building a successful future through education. She lives with her mother in a rural village, where her mother works as a casual laborer, earning a modest income that is barely enough to meet the family's basic needs. As a result, they often struggle to afford healthcare and other essential expenses. Sharlyne was brought to the hospital by her mother with a three-day history of persistent cough, chest pain, difficulty breathing, high fever, joint pains, runny nose, diarrhea, and progressive general body weakness. Her condition worsened despite home care, making her unable to carry out her normal activities. Following clinical examination and laboratory investigations, she was diagnosed with severe malaria, pneumonia, and moderate anemia. Due to the severity of her illness and the risk of serious complications, she was admitted for close monitoring, intravenous treatment, further investigations, and comprehensive inpatient management.
Medical history
Sharlyne was brought to the facility with complains; Cough associated with difficult in breathing and Chest pain, joint pain, diarrhea and general body weakness. On examination and laboratory tests and based on results she was diagnosed with, severe malaria, severe pneumonia and moderate anemia and was given; I.v Artesunate,I.v Ceftroxane, I.v 5%D, I.v Pcm . She responded positively to medication and discharged home on good condition.
Prognosis
Sharlyne, a 15-year-old girl, has severe pneumonia, severe malaria, and moderate anaemia. This is a serious medical condition requiring urgent hospital treatment. Severe malaria can affect vital organs, pneumonia makes breathing difficult, and moderate anaemia reduces the blood's ability to carry oxygen, making her weak and delaying recovery. With prompt treatment using appropriate antimalarial medicines, antibiotics, supportive care, and treatment for anaemia, her condition can improve. If Sharlyne receives timely and appropriate medical care, her prognosis is generally good.
