Why is treatment sometimes done earlier than the payment?
When a case is urgent and vital, hospitals often proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalisation of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Faith is serious about school and would like to be a nurse when she grows up. She loves to dance and enjoys playing with younger children, she says she likes the laughter and stories that children like to tell. She was brought to the hospital with back pain, loss of appetite, high fever and difficulty breathing.
Medical history
Faith came to the facility complaining of a headache, loss of appetite, back pain, and difficulty in breathing. A thorough examination was done, her chest was clear, and there were no signs of throat or tonsil infections. However, she had some tenderness in her upper stomach area. To determine the cause of her symptoms, a laboratory test was conducted, which confirmed that she had severe malaria. To treat the malaria, the patient was given antimalarial medication to be taken for three days. Being in stable condition, she was allowed to go home with proper instructions on how to take the medication and when to seek further medical attention if needed. The Helpster Charity volunteer visited the family a week after, and it was confirmed that Faith is now doing well
Prognosis
Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences.
