About infections
Golam Rabbi has been diagnosed with typhoid fever, a serious bacterial infection that spreads through contaminated food and water. The illness commonly causes prolonged high fever, severe body aches, weakness, Common Cold, and loss of appetite. If not treated properly, typhoid can lead to dangerous complications such as intestinal bleeding or infection spreading throughout the body. With timely medical care and appropriate antibiotics, most patients recover fully and regain their normal strength and health.

Background
Golam Rabbi is a 2-year-old boy who was previously healthy but became seriously ill with high fever, cough, common cold, abdominal pain, and frequent diarrhea, requiring hospital care. He lives in a seven-member family, and his father is the sole earner, working as a mechanical worker and earning only approximately USD 74 per month, making it difficult to meet household needs and afford medical expenses. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Abdur Rahman and sought assistance when Golam’s condition worsened; he was diagnosed with Typhoid, which is endemic in the area. Without timely treatment, typhoid may worsen and lead to severe dehydration, intestinal complications, systemic infection, and other potentially life-threatening complications, particularly in a young child.
Medical history
Golam Rabbi is a 02 years old child. Suddenly he got fever for 07 days with caugh and common cold. His mother came to our hospital in 01st June 2026. Doctor diagnosed this case as typhoid fever. Doctor suggests to get admitted to hospital. Doctor and Nurses provide the baby proper treatment and affectionate care. As a result, Golam Rabbi comes round from her illness and becomes heathy. At 07th June 2026, we discharged her. The patient's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Helpster Charity and the hospital for their timely and effective care.
Prognosis
Doctors have advised treatment with parenteral antibiotics along with supportive therapy to effectively control Golam Rabbi's typhoid infection. With timely and complete treatment, his fever will gradually subside, his strength will return, and he will be able to resume her studies and daily activities without long-term effects. Proper medical care will also prevent the infection from spreading and protect his vital organs. However, if left untreated, typhoid can lead to severe complications such as intestinal perforation, internal bleeding, bloodstream infection, and even become life-threatening. Early intervention is therefore essential to ensure her full recovery and safeguard her future health.
