Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts. That’s why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

About pregnancy
MRS. Lamia has been diagnosed with 37+ weeks of single viable pregnancy with oligohydramnios and fetal distress. The presence of oligohydramnios, which is a low level of amniotic fluid, Obstrected labour, is a significant concern as it can put the baby at risk for complications like umbilical cord compression, which makes her current delivery more complex and necessitates C-section. This combination of factors requires close medical supervision to ensure the safety of both the mother and the baby.

Background
Mrs. Lamiya is a kind and hopeful young mother who dreams of welcoming her first child into a loving family and building a better future with her husband, Towhid. Her husband earns only BDT 9,000 per month through agricultural work and is the sole provider for five family members, including his elderly parents, Siddikur Rahman and Piyara Begum, and his younger brother Sohel, making the cost of emergency surgery and hospital care impossible for the family to afford. After an otherwise healthy pregnancy, Lamiya suddenly faced a life-threatening complication when severe oligohydramnios and fetal distress placed her unborn baby's life at immediate risk. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Abdur Rahman, who became a source of hope during their most difficult moment. Without an urgent caesarean section, the baby could suffer severe oxygen deprivation, permanent brain injury, stillbirth, or death, while Lamiya herself could face serious complications, devastating a family eagerly waiting to welcome their first child.
Medical history
After experiencing, passage of gush of water and leaky membrane for 2 days, she arrived at our hospital at 09.00AM in 01 th june 2026 and doctors performed an ultrasound that revealed amniotic fluid is very low with fetal distress , making vaginal delivery impossible. An emergency cesarean section was promptly arranged, and the procedure was successful, resulting in the birth of a beautiful male baby. Both the mother and the baby are safe and sound, with no complications arising from the surgery. We discharged the patient at 10.30AM in 04th june 2026.The patient's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Helpster Heroes and the hospital for their timely and effective care.
Prognosis
The doctor's prognosis is that an immediate cesarean section is a crucial, life-saving intervention. The patient's history of premature rupture of membranes, severe oligohydramnios and fetal distress puts both the mother and baby at significant risk. The lack of amniotic fluid can lead to the umbilical cord becoming compressed, which can cut off the baby's oxygen supply and lead to fetal distress, irreversible brain damage, or stillbirth. Without the immediate surgical delivery, the risk of a tragic outcome for the baby is high. The C-section, while a major surgery, offers the best chance to bypass these life-threatening complications and ensure a safe and healthy start to the baby's life.
