Jobayer Hossen is a determined 10-year-old madrasha student who hopes to continue his education despite his family's difficult circumstances. He lives with his parents in a family of three, where his 50-year-old father is the only earning member, working as an agricultural day laborer with a monthly income of approximately BDT 5,000, which is barely enough to cover food and other basic necessities, leaving the family unable to afford the cost of orthopedic treatment, investigations, immobilization, and follow-up care. After learning about Helpster Charity through a staff member of CSDK, the family sought assistance in the hope of accessing the urgent treatment Jobayer requires. Despite exhausting their limited resources and losing their own land to river erosion, they cannot continue his treatment without financial support. Without timely treatment, the fractured arm may heal improperly, leading to persistent pain, deformity, reduced arm function, permanent disability, and an inability to continue his education and normal childhood activities.

Jobayer Hossen was admitted to the hospital on 15 May 2026 after sustaining an accidental fall while playing, resulting in a closed fracture of the proximal shaft of the left humerus. Following medical examination and X-ray investigations, doctors confirmed the fracture and immediately initiated appropriate orthopedic treatment, pain management, immobilization, and supportive care. He remained under close observation and received continuous treatment from the hospital's medical team. With timely medical intervention and careful monitoring, Jobayer's condition gradually improved, and his pain and swelling began to subside. He was discharged from the hospital on 18 May 2026 in stable condition with advice for adequate rest, regular follow-up, and proper care to ensure complete recovery. Jobayer's family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, its volunteers, and the hospital staff for their generous support and compassionate care during this difficult time.

With proper orthopedic treatment, pain management, immobilization, and supportive care, Jobayer Hossen's fractured left humerus is expected to heal gradually, allowing him to regain normal arm function and strength over time. Adequate treatment and regular follow-up will help reduce pain, restore movement, and enable him to return to his daily activities and attend his madrasha comfortably. With close medical supervision and sufficient rest, the chances of a full recovery are very good. However, if left untreated or improperly managed, the fracture may heal incorrectly, resulting in prolonged pain, restricted shoulder and arm movement, bone deformity, weakness, or long-term functional disability.
