Aldo is an 11-month-old baby boy who lives with his mother, grandparents, aunts, and uncles in a rural village. He is the only child of his young mother, who dropped out of school because of financial constraints. Aldo's father abandoned the family before he was born, leaving his mother dependent on her elderly parents for support. The extended family is large, and everyone relies on the grandparents, who earn a modest living through small-scale farming. Despite these challenges, Aldo is a cheerful, active, and playful child whenever he is in good health. About a week before admission, Aldo became unwell at home. Because the family could not afford to take him to the hospital, they sought help from a Community Health Promoter (CHP), who provided initial treatment and monitored his condition. However, despite these efforts, Aldo's health continued to deteriorate. Recognizing that he required urgent medical attention, the CHP referred him to the health facility. Being aware of Helpster Charity and the support it provides to vulnerable patients, and knowing that Aldo had previously benefited from the organization, the CHP requested assistance to ensure he could receive timely hospital treatment. Upon arrival, Aldo was assessed by the medical team and admitted for further evaluation, treatment, and close monitoring.

Aldo was admitted to the ward and started on intravenous antibiotics, fever management and supportive treatment, including fluids and nutritional support. he was closely monitored and response to medication. Over the first few days of treatment, her condition gradually improved and was ready to reunite with her cousins and the brother. With continued treatment and observation, the baby showed steady and encouraging improvement. By the time of discharge, she was active and clinically stable ,he was sent home with medication and follow-up instructions, bringing great relief and hope to her mother and family.

The baby was admitted in a sickly condition with persistent fever, widespread wounds on the leg, and generalized weakness. Following clinical assessment and investigations, he was diagnosed with cellulitis, a serious condition caused by infection leading to inflammation and skin manifestations. Her condition required immediate admission, close monitoring, antibiotics, intravenous fluids, and supportive treatment to prevent further complications. Without urgent medical intervention, the infection could have progressed and become life-threatening. His prognosis is favorable
